Knotted fan coral (Melithaea ochracea); Grow up to 100cm. and can be found at a depth of 20-40m. Axis of stem with conspicuously swollen nodes. Highly branced colonies grow in one plane, as large fan or bushy with several parallel fans. Small branches may fuse into net-like maze.
